South
Korean Tech Giant LG electronics is preparing to unveil its latest phablet LG
V10 on October1 in New-York City. According to the latest information from
the Headquarter of the company in Yeouido-dong, Seoul, the new android
smartphone features a dual display screen on the front.
The LG V10 phablet had
already crossed through TENAA's certification in China earlier this
month, along with images that gave a glimpse of the phone's design. In
addition, the South Korean company recently released a video for the upcoming
event, on its YouTube channel, confirming the
phone's existence.
In terms of the
specs, the LG V10 is anticipated to sport a 5.7-inch display screen with a 2560
x 1440 (QHD) pixel resolution. The new phone will have a sharp 16 mega pixel
camera on the back with dual-LED flash, along with a 5 mega pixel
camera on the front.
Similar to LG's
popular G4 smartphone, the LG V10 is expected to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808
SoC processor as well, along with 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB of expandable
memory storage.
Also, the V10
might come with a fingerprint sensor that will be integrated into the power
key. As for the display, the device will come with a second small screen placed
right above the primary one, a feature similar to Samsung's Galaxy S6 Edge and
S6 Edge Plus, GSM Arena reported.
LG's next move
to release a smartphone product with a unique display feature could help the
company regain its strength in the Android smartphone market, CNET reported.
In the meantime, more details are expected to come out next week.
