One of the leading electronics company in the world LG (Life’s Good) is preparing its G4, G3 and G2 handsets for the forthcoming Android Marshmallow as reported. One of the devices will be made by LG and the other will be made by Huawei.
On the other hand, according to rumors, LG G4, LG G3 and LG G2 devices will be skipping the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update and will get upgraded into the new Android Marshmallow. Furthermore, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, US Cellular, AT&T and Sprint are planning for the Android Marshmallow update on a few of their devices.
According to International Business Times, LG may skip the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update and move on to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This could upset LG users because the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update has improved performance of the devices and fixed several bugs. The LG G4 may get the Android M upgrade by the end of 2015 or next year while other handsets, such as LG G3 and LG G2, may receive the update much later.
Android Marshmallow will come with new features such as support for USB Type-C, support for Android Pay, Personalized Chrome tabs, Network Reset Option and RAM Manager. The update will also bring several improvements.
